When one of Jojo’s owners decided he was no longer wanted, he was in need of a savior. His foster says the experience of losing his home of more than a decade hasn’t seemed to faze him, as he’s a happy, spritely pup full of energy that belies his age. He’s a healthy boy with great hearing and vision who loves walks, head and neck pets and belly rubs. He’s a low-maintenance dog who gets along with other canines in the house – though he often has something to say about dogs encountered on his walks – and has big, heart-melting eyes. Jojo is up-do-date on vaccines, parasite-free and microchipped.

He’s completely house-trained! He is not fully socialized with dogs in the open but he’s gets along with dogs 1-1 in the home. He is very comfortable around hoomans and likes pets on the head, neck and belly rubs. 

Jojo is a low maintenance incredibly soft short-haired Pekingese with big eyes that will melt your heart! We hope you have room in your heart and home for this little fella! 

While we would prefer that he have a yard and have indicated that, he would probably be OK in an apartment or condo, preferably one with a small yard as he is fully house-trained.
